Team Management

Nomotic is built for teams. This article covers inviting team members, assigning roles, managing access, and removing users.

Roles

Every team member has one of four roles:

Owner — full access including billing and account settings. One owner per organization. Ownership can be transferred in Settings.

Admin — full access except billing. Manages agents, policies, context, team members, and all platform features. Right for engineering leads and AI operations managers.

Operator — manages agents and policies, views the audit trail, and approves or denies escalations. Cannot manage team membership or billing. Right for people running agents day to day.

Viewer — read-only access. Can see agents, evaluations, and the audit trail but cannot make changes or approve escalations. Useful for stakeholders who need visibility without operational access.

Inviting team members

Go to Settings → Team → Invite Member. Enter their email address and select their role. They receive an invitation email with a link to accept. Invitation links are valid for 7 days. If one expires, resend it from the pending invitations list.

User limits by plan: Free allows 1 user, Team allows 5, Business allows 20, and Enterprise has no limit.

Changing roles

Go to Settings → Team, find the team member, and select a new role from the dropdown. The change takes effect immediately.

Removing a team member

Go to Settings → Team, find the team member, and click Remove. Their access is revoked immediately. Review and revoke any API keys they created in Settings → API Keys after removing them — those remain active until manually revoked.

What team members can see

All team members can see all agents, evaluations, and audit trail records within your organization. Nomotic does not currently support per-agent access control within an organization.
