This article covers how billing works in Nomotic, how to upgrade or downgrade your plan, and what happens at your evaluation limit.
Plans
Nomotic has four plans:
Free — 5 agents, 10,000 evaluations per month, 1 user. No time limit and no credit card required.
Team ($149/month) — 25 agents, 100,000 evaluations per month, 5 users. Adds audit export, custom archetypes, context profiles, drift alerts, Radar, and email support.
Business ($499/month) — 250 agents, 1,000,000 evaluations per month, 20 users. Adds the Arbiter advisory layer, VOI escalation, multi-agent coordination, governance scorecard, and a 99.9% SLA.
Enterprise — unlimited agents and evaluations, unlimited users, custom pricing. Adds custom governance dimensions, compliance presets, air-gap deployment, dedicated support, and custom contracts.
Upgrading
Go to Settings → Billing → Change Plan. Select your new plan and confirm. Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the remaining days in your current billing period.
Downgrading
Select a lower plan from Settings → Billing → Change Plan. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access to your current plan until then. If your current usage exceeds the lower plan’s limits (more agents than allowed, for example), excess agents become inactive at the start of the new billing period. They are not deleted.
Evaluation limits
You receive a notification at 80% of your monthly evaluation limit. At 100%, governance API calls return a plan limit error until your billing period resets or you upgrade.
Your agents continue running when the limit is hit — only the governance evaluation call is blocked. For production workloads, choose a plan with headroom above your expected volume.
Invoices and payment
All billing is handled through Stripe. Go to Settings → Billing → Billing Portal to download invoices, update your payment method, or view billing history. Nomotic accepts all major credit and debit cards.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Your account remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that it reverts to the Free plan limits. Your data — agents, certificates, audit trail — is preserved.
